Tisdale to manage California office.

As many of you know, I’ve been spending most of my time at our Las Vegas facility and the rest at our offices in Southern California. This has been particularly hard on my family who resides in Southern California. I’m very happy to announce that starting May 1rst I will be in the Vegas office full time again. Also, my family will be moving back to Las Vegas. I’m so happy that I will be able to spend so much more time with them. It’s very exciting for me!

Since our acquisition of Expo Call John Tisdale has learned our system and is fitting back in here like he never left. Now that we have such a talented manager here in Southern California, I’m no longer needed here with such frequency. John will do an amazing job here. I’ll be enthusiastically watching the growth that will happen in this office under his care.

Please remember to contact me when you’re in Las Vegas. I know all the great restaurants and bars and I can always hook up a local discount for shows and concerts.

Nothing will change for our clients and all phone numbers and addresses remain the same.

We're finally finished moving and all settled in at our new offices in San Juan Capistrano California. San Juan is North of San Diego and South of Anaheim. The offices are humble but closer to where everyone lives. Which makes everyone around here a lot happier!

Las Vegas, NV - February 3, 2011 – ListeNation, a leading provider of marketing services to the Trade Show and Events industry today announced the acquisition of ExpoCall. The company will continue to be identified as ListeNation. ExpoCall President and CEO John Tisdale served as ListeNation Director of Marketing from 2001 through 2005. He will become a shareholder in the company and take over day-to-day responsibilities of Business Development and Client Relations.

Since it’s inception in 2005, ExpoCall has focused on providing the highest quality event marketing services and captured substantial market share within the events marketplace. ListeNation Success Story

Nielsen hired ListeNation to market for the JA event in NYC. ListeNation has marketed for this event for several years and we've done many different kinds of campaigns for the show.

This year, we did a regional call the day before the event and a second follow up call during the event. These messages went out to a group of 25,000 prospects close enough to drive in or hop on the train and get there the same day. The first message went out the day before the event. Before we dialed the second message, the event staff sent us the verified attendee list from the first day so we could purge anyone from the list who showed up. This way, they wouldn't get the second message.

Nielsen marketed to this database for months before the show, sending direct mail, print ads and email campaigns to the prospects before ListeNation even attempted these calls.

When we ran the numbers, we found the results were phenomenal. People who received the ListeNation call were 15 % more likely to show up for the event then those that did not receive the call.

Nielsen provided the final list of attendees to ListeNation for analysis. We then compared all the people we attempted to reach against the list of verified attendees. Once we knew who attended and was on our list, we simply compared those who received the message to those who did not. The increase was 15%.

This kind of increase is incredible and demonstrates the power of the ListeNation Call.

Part of my vision and my purpose with this blog is to share results our clients have with you. We are working hard to accumulate content to deliver to you at least once a week. (with the event's management permission and blessings)

Now we dial for so many different kinds of events and so many different desired outcomes, every week should be different and exciting. What we do know, is that our technology works, and we get our clients great results.. With this blog we want to share those success with you. As some of you may know, I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for the better part of a year now. The week before TS2, I finally received a complete diagnosis. I have a muscle disease called "lower scapular dystonia." Basically, a virus attacked the muscle under my right shoulder blade and it will not heal. The damage done to the muscle causes it to constantly spasm. This spasming irritates the nerves and is the cause of my constant pain. This is, in all likelihood, incurable and will be something I have to deal with for the remainder of my life. There are several treatments to help with the pain and now that we know what we are dealing with, we'll begin to treat the pain.
The reason I'm sharing this; is because I want everyone to know why I absent from the social events at TS2 and made myself scarce during most of the education and group sessions. I was hiding in my room saving my energy for the show floor and for the few events I was able to attend. I wished every night I could have been out enjoying myself with everyone, but I was simply unable to.
Moving forward we're beginning treatments that should considerably lower my pain level and I hope to be my normal cheerful... bar-closing self soon!
Thanks to everyone for the kind words and prayers throughout this last year.. It has been trying but there is a lot of hope for the future.. Javier

Tier Pricing for Rural, Alaska and Hawaii

I’m in Las Vegas working at our technology facility. We are diligently trying to find a solution to our Tier pricing issue. This has burdened our customers who have rural clients the most. These rural areas choose to charge extremely high tax on incoming calls to their area. This additional cost is passed onto us by our phone company. Likewise, we’ve had to pass this additional cost to our clients who have attendees or exhibitors in these areas.

As most of you know ListeNation does not use Voice Over IP (VOIP) as we feel the quality of calls and call detection suffers greatly. Unfortunately, traditional dial tone costs a great deal more and is more influenced by tariff rates. Some areas in North Dakota currently cost us as much as $1.10 per minute. Using traditional dial tone cost us 10 times more then VOIP on a monthly basis, but there is no comparison in quality and customer satisfaction.

At this time we are however exploring the idea of adding 1 VOIP system for these areas. I am working on getting the quality to a point that I’m comfortable offering to our clients. This option would be your choice and we will send you a test message so you can hear exactly what you’re getting before we pull the trigger with your rural campaigns.

I’m very confident we will be able to find a solution that will address the cost issue with out affecting our quality too much.

I wanted to take a second and blog about this so you know we are working on it and working as quickly as we can towards a solution.

New Website is fully operational...(finally!)

I'm so excited! We finally have our new website completed. We've added so much new information about all our services, which now includes the PFS and text messaging services as well as our classic ListeNation call. As you can see another addition is a blog. I'll be challenged to update all our clients and potential clients on all they weekly coming and goings of ListeNation and our clients. So please follow ListeNation here to learn about new products, find out how other clients are successfully using ListeNation and maybe even some gossip from the very exciting lives of the ListeNation crew.

I'll try to update often, and at least once a week.. Hopefully, I'll stick better to this commitment then the gym! Maybe I can blog from my Iphone at the gym..
